Real Madrid is a Spanish football club recognized by FIFA as the best football club of the 20th century. The club was founded on 6 March 1902 by brothers Padros and Julian Palacios. On the 29th June 1920 the King of Spain granted the royal title to the club, Real in Spanish. Thus the name of the club appeared – Real Madrid.

According to Deloitte, Real Madrid has the largest budget among football clubs in the world.
